- Can I pay a Montenegro IBAN by SEPA?
- Only if the recipient’s bank has joined the SEPA schemes. Montenegro is in the SEPA geographical scope (EPC list v8.0), and local banks have been able to join the schemes since 5 October 2025. If the bank has not joined yet, the payment goes by SWIFT and you need its SWIFT/BIC code; ask the bank which applies.
