Editorial standards
Our articles are drafted with AI and checked against primary sources before they are published. This page explains who is accountable, how an article is made and how to tell us about a mistake.
Who writes our articles
Articles carry the byline “Trillioni Pay team”. We don't put a person's name on an article that person did not write. One named person is accountable for everything we publish: the editorial owner.
How an article is made
- 1
Research
We gather primary sources first: regulators, central banks, payment schemes, official statistics and the rules themselves. Each source is saved with the date we checked it.
- 2
An AI draft
An AI model writes the draft from those sources and from our product facts, not from its own memory. Figures in worked examples are calculated by code, not written by the model.
- 3
Claim check
Every factual claim is matched to a passage in a source. A claim that no source supports is removed or rewritten.
- 4
A second review
A second AI model, from a different provider, reviews the draft for accuracy, clarity and the rules on this page. Automated checks stop an article on any critical failure, such as an unsupported claim or a product statement without its condition.
- 5
The editorial owner's veto
The editorial owner receives each article with a preview 48 hours before it is due, or 72 hours for higher-risk topics. It is published unless the editorial owner stops it.
- 6
Updates
We revisit articles when rules, fees or our product change. Each article shows the date it was last updated.
Sources
- We prefer the primary source: the regulator, the central bank, the payment scheme or the law itself. When we rely on a secondary source, we say what it is.
- Every article lists its sources at the end, with the date each one was checked.
- We don't use anonymous sources, and we don't cite a source we haven't read.
What we say about TrillioniPay
- Statements about our own product come from product-fact records that the company approves every month, never from the model's general knowledge.
- Each fact carries its status. Something planned is described as planned, and something not yet confirmed is not claimed. When a fact needs a condition, such as approval after review, the condition goes with it.
- TrillioniPay is not a bank. Trillioni Pay Inc. is registered with FINTRAC as a money services business and with the Bank of Canada under the RPAA. Registration is not a licence or an endorsement.
- Onboarding has not opened yet. Our articles invite you to join the waiting list, which is not an application and does not reserve an account.
No forecasts, no advice
- We don't forecast exchange rates or markets, and we don't give investment, tax or legal advice. Articles explain how things work; for a decision about your business, speak to a qualified adviser.
- In comparisons we set out the trade-offs of each route and never rank ourselves first.
AI disclosure
- Every article says near the top that it was drafted with AI, and links to this page. A “Reviewed by” line appears only when a person has actually reviewed the article.
Corrections
If you find a mistake, email relations-ca@trillionipay.com with the page and what is wrong. We check every report. When we correct a fact, we fix the article and record the change in the public corrections log.
