Terms & Conditions
Last updated 29 September 2026
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of trillionipay.com and, once your account is open, the TrillioniPay service. They form an agreement between you and Trillioni Pay Inc., a company incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act, corporation no. 1663014-6, registered office 350 Rutherford Rd S, Unit 104, Brampton, ON L6W 4N6, Canada.
We are registered with FINTRAC as a money services business, registration no. C100000813, for foreign exchange dealing, money transferring, dealing in virtual currency and payment services, and with the Bank of Canada as a payment service provider under the Retail Payment Activities Act.
By using this website or our service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use them.
2. We are not a bank
TrillioniPay is not a bank and does not take deposits. We do not hold any client money today. Once accounts open, money you hold with us will not be a bank deposit, will not be insured by the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation, and will not be covered by any deposit guarantee scheme. How client money will be held and protected will be set out in the account terms. We will not pay interest on balances.
3. Accounts are not open yet
At the date above we are not yet accepting customers or account applications. Joining the waiting list or sending us an enquiry does not create an account, does not oblige us to open one, and is not an offer of any service. The capabilities described on this website are planned for TrillioniPay customers; access begins only after launch and remains subject to eligibility, onboarding, compliance approval and applicable partner requirements.
Sections 4 to 16 describe how the service is intended to work once accounts open. They are a summary, not your account agreement. The account terms we give you before you apply will govern your account, and they prevail where they differ from this page.
4. Who can apply
To apply you must be at least 18, have legal capacity, and be applying either for yourself or with authority to bind the business you name. We may decline any application, and we are not required to give a reason.
5. Identity checks
Before onboarding we must verify who you are. You agree to give us accurate, complete and current information, and the documents we ask for, including identification for directors and for anyone owning or controlling 25% or more of a business. You must tell us promptly when that information changes.
We screen you and, where relevant, the people you pay against the sanctions and terrorist listings Canada enforces, both when your profile is created and on every transaction. We may re-verify you at any time, and may suspend your account until you provide what we ask for.
See our sanctions and restricted-activity policy for how screening, restrictions and official sources are handled.
6. What we provide
After launch, approved eligible customers can access:
- a multi-currency account;
- a named IBAN issued by a regulated partner in the European Union;
- international payments, and collections into your account details;
- currency conversion;
- batch payments to staff and contractors; and
- conversion between supported digital assets and currency.
Not every service or payment route is available in every country. Availability depends on customer eligibility, currency, destination, compliance review and financial-partner requirements.
7. How you must not use the service
You must not use TrillioniPay:
- for anything unlawful, or to launder money or finance terrorism;
- on behalf of someone else without telling us, or to disguise who controls the money;
- to breach sanctions, or to send or receive money involving a sanctioned person, entity or jurisdiction;
- to structure transactions so as to avoid a reporting or identification threshold;
- to give us false, misleading or forged information or documents; or
- in a way that damages our systems or those of our partners.
8. When we hold, freeze or refuse
We may refuse, delay, hold or reverse a payment, freeze funds, or suspend or close your account where we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with the law, where screening produces a confirmed match, where we suspect fraud or money laundering, or where you have broken these terms.
In many of these cases the law prohibits us from telling you why, and from telling you whether we have reported the matter. We are not liable for loss arising from action we take to meet a legal obligation.
9. Payments
You are responsible for the payment details you give us. Payments are executed on the details you provide, not on the recipient's name, and a payment sent to the wrong account may not be recoverable. Check before you confirm.
Cut-off times, and the time a payment takes to arrive, depend on the currency, the route and the receiving bank. Timings we publish are estimates, not guarantees. Payments sent by SWIFT may have charges deducted by correspondent banks that we do not control and cannot predict.
Once a payment has been executed it generally cannot be cancelled. We will try to recall a payment if you ask, but we cannot promise it will succeed.
10. Currency conversion
Exchange rates move constantly. The rate and our fee are shown before you confirm, and the rate quoted applies only if you accept it within the time we show. Once you confirm, the conversion is binding and cannot be reversed because the rate has moved in your favour.
11. Digital assets
Digital assets are volatile and can lose value quickly and completely. They are not money, not legal tender, and not safeguarded in the way currency balances are. We do not give investment advice, and nothing on this website is a recommendation to buy or hold any asset. Digital-asset services are offered only where we are permitted to offer them and only to customers who pass the additional checks that apply.
12. Fees
Our fees are published on our pricing page and shown before you confirm a transaction. We may change fees, and will give notice before a change takes effect. Third parties in a payment chain may apply their own charges.
13. Your account security
Keep your credentials and any authentication device secure, and do not let anyone else use your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for instructions given through your account until you have told us.
14. Our liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or opportunity, or for indirect or consequential loss. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, or by a third party in the payment chain.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
15. Suspension and closing your account
You may close your account at any time, once any outstanding transactions have settled. We may suspend or close your account where you break these terms, where we must do so by law, or on reasonable notice. On closure we return any remaining balance to an account in your name, unless the law prevents us.
Our record-keeping obligations continue after closure. See our privacy policy.
16. Complaints
If something goes wrong, tell us at complaint@trillionipay.com. We acknowledge within five business days and aim to resolve within thirty calendar days. Our complaints process sets out the steps and how to escalate.
17. This website, its information and tools
The content, design, logos and software on this website belong to us or our licensors. You may use the site for your own information and to evaluate our service; you may not copy, resell or scrape it. We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it is error-free or uninterrupted.
Articles, guides and tool results on this website are general information. They are not financial, legal, tax or investment advice, and they do not take your circumstances into account. Exchange rates, fees, bank and SWIFT directory data, IBAN checks and calendars come partly from third-party sources and may be incomplete or out of date. Check important details with the bank or the official source before you rely on them, and before you send money.
Our articles are drafted with AI and checked under our editorial standards before they are published. If you find a mistake, tell us; we record material fixes on our corrections page.
Links to other websites are for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
18. Your information and our emails
Our privacy policy explains what we collect through this website, how we use it and your rights. We send newsletter emails only if you ask for them, and you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every such email or by writing to us.
19. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Where a change materially affects you we will give notice before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept it.
20. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers keep any right they have to bring proceedings where they live.
