Sanctions policy

Sanctions and restricted-activity policy.

Trillioni Pay Inc. does not provide services or process transactions where prohibited by applicable sanctions laws, regulations or financial-partner requirements.

Check your eligibility

This is a quick indicator, not a compliance decision. Every applicant is independently screened during onboarding.

Countries and territories where our customers cannot be based

We do not open accounts for, or process payments to or from, customers based in the following countries and territories, reflecting United Nations, European Union, United Kingdom or United States sanctions measures against that country or territory—including partial, sector-specific or entity-linked measures, not only full embargoes:

This list is about where customers are based, and decides who can open an account. It is not the list of payment destinations: the countries we cannot send payments to are listed on our currencies page. Every customer and every payment is subject to compliance review, so a country that is not listed here is no guarantee of service. Payment destinations we cannot send to →

Enhanced screening elsewhere

A small number of other jurisdictions carry Canada-specific measures not reflected above, or appear on FATF's list of jurisdictions with anti-money-laundering deficiencies rather than a sanctions regime—these receive enhanced due diligence rather than an outright block. We screen every applicant, beneficial owner, counterparty and transaction individually as part of onboarding and ongoing monitoring, regardless of country.

How screening works

We screen applicants, beneficial owners, counterparties and transactions against applicable sanctions and terrorist listings. We may decline onboarding or restrict, hold, reject, freeze or report activity where required by law or our compliance obligations.

Eligibility is not a country blacklist

Sanctions can target people, entities, sectors and activities—not only countries. Onboarding markets and permitted payment destinations are reviewed separately by Compliance. Regulations and partner requirements remain authoritative.

Authoritative sources

We screen against five sanctions regimes: Global Affairs Canada (Special Economic Measures Act, United Nations Act and Justice for Victims of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act), the United Nations Security Council Consolidated List, the Council of the European Union, the UK Sanctions List in the United Kingdom, and the US Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
