Central Bank of Egypt: rate decisions and meeting dates
The CBE’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meets eight times a year on dates it publishes at the start of the year. Since the cut of 12 February 2026 the overnight deposit rate has been 19.00% and the lending rate 20.00%; the MPC held them on 24 September 2026. The 2027 schedule is not published yet.
