- Are these the rates TrillioniPay charges?
- No. They are reference rates from official sources. The rate for a payment includes our margin and is shown, with the fee, before you confirm.
- Why are some currencies missing a rate?
- We only publish figures from sources whose terms allow it. The ECB does not publish the Egyptian pound, Moroccan dirham, Algerian dinar, Tunisian dinar or Kuwaiti dinar, and we have not yet cleared the reuse terms of the central banks that do. Their currency pages still carry the facts; rates appear once a source is cleared.
- How are rates between two non-euro currencies worked out?
- We calculate them from the ECB euro rates, and for dollar-pegged currencies from the official parity. Each pair page labels a calculated rate as ours and shows the source figures behind it unchanged.
- How far back does the history go?
- To 2 January 2024: every ECB reference date since then. Each pair that moves has a history page with monthly tables and every daily figure.
