PCI DSS

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, a set of security requirements for organisations that handle payment card data. Level 1 is the tier applied to the highest transaction volumes and is assessed by an independent Qualified Security Assessor.

Two things are worth checking whenever a company displays the badge. Which entity in the stack actually holds the certification, since a software provider's certification is not its customer's. And when it was assessed, because attestation is valid for one year and has to be re-earned annually.

TrillioniPay's platform provider holds PCI DSS Level 1 under version 4.0.1. TrillioniPay does not hold it and does not present it as its own.
